Translato provides an online audio-to-text transcription service, complete with:

  • Registration: You may sign up using Google OAuth. Your email and session data are stored to associate transcriptions and uploads with your account.
  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.

2.4 Subscription Plans

  • Free Tier: Allows one audio upload (up to 30 minutes) without payment information.
  • Paid Subscription: Priced at $14.99 (USD) per month, providing up to 15 hours of audio transcriptions per month. Usage in excess of the limit may be restricted or subject to additional fees in the future.
  • Billing: Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis. Payment is securely handled by Stripe, and no payment details are stored on our servers.

2.5 Cancelation Policy

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access to the Service for the remainder of the paid period.

2.6 Use of the Service

  • You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • You must not misuse the Service by knowingly uploading harmful or malicious content.

2.7 Intellectual Property

  • Hosting & Storage: We use fly.io for server hosting and Tigris data (S3-like storage) for storing uploaded audio files and transcriptions.

  • Payment Processing: Stripe handles payments and collects any necessary billing information.

  • Encryption: Tigris provides server-side encryption at rest. All data in transit is protected by TLS encryption.
  • Access Controls: We restrict access to personal data. Only authorized personnel or processes can access user information.
  • Authentication: We rely on Google OAuth. No passwords are stored on our servers.
